Very prompt delivery even at Christmas, I chose to work the new gaiter into the existing ST gearknobs recess instead of using cable ties and after a bit of encouragement it fits securely and looks good... the colour is slightly different to the full leather seats but this is due to the gaiter being leatherette not real leather... I'm pleased with the look of the finished product though and it is far superior to the original, excellent service from TTS and would order from them again without hesitation!
The gaiter is an original Ford part, which i wasn't expecting but is great! Here in Australia Ford Dealers sell it for $180.00!!! Much cheaper at Torquesteer! It fits great, the top stretches easily and fits nice and snug around the original shifters recess. Shifting is also easier without the tension of the rubber boot against the shifter. It's a leatherette gaiter (leather analogue), so don't expect real leather, but FAR better than the rubber one by miles!! Buy it, fit it (under 2 minutes), enjoy it! Thanks Team Torquesteer, you guys are the best!! And delivery to Australia only 4 days! Fantastic!!
The gearknob is made of plastics and is somwhat rougher on the top edges than the original (leather) ST one. The gaitor is nice. Just makes some sounds when shifting. I hope just when still new.
