What’s wrong with standard brake hoses?

Standard brake hoses are made from rubber. Some of the effort involved with pushing the brake pedal is wasted on expanding the rubber hose - this gives a characteristic ‘spongy’ feel to brake pedals and also reduces braking efficiency.

All 1.4 & 1.7 Puma's with 240mm front discs as standard. These models were manufactured between 1997-01 and can easily be identified from later models as they don't have a third brake light in the tail-gate.

THIS KIT WILL NOT FIT LATER 2001+ MODELS WITH 258MM DIAMETER FRONT DISCS.
